Marriage Proposal : Taking The Risk

The Marriage Proposal

The Moment of Intimacy

The magic moment of the marriage proposal is an important milestone in most little girls' minds akin to a fairy tale that when that special day, should it happen, is accomplished memorably and happily.

Nearly every female thinks about it. It sits inside the back of their brooding ( ring section) minds like a small seed waiting to be engagement ring-fertilised for germination to proceed.

Some guys are thoughtful enough to consider this and make efforts to make the moment special and memorable. Others would not have a clue and is indicative of their maturity.

One of the worst proposals I heard of last year took place on a drunken fishing trip. One guy on a hired fishing boat with his girlfriend and seven of his schickered bogan mates decided to present the ring to his sea sick and distressed intended wife-to-be at the end of the day's fishing.

To be honest I do not know what was worse. The booze or the smell of bait. The moment of intimacy escaped forever and the relationship of seven years ceased from that moment.

The " moment " has to be remembered and identified with for future classification and confirmation by the location, the food, the clothes or an event so the amorous couple have a personal private moment that they can always share in their minds and identify with.

The method employed by lover boy is indicative of the relationship's future.

This is why it is important to surprise " ya missus " !

Any female who is dragged around from jeweller to jeweller because lover boy is too much of a baby to make a decision on his own is delusional.

Likewise any female who is proposed to without the ring has missed the "moment " FOREVER.Being given instructions by lover boy to start ring hunting because he will pay for the engagement ring is very sad.

Both are not ready for the unity of marriage.

Some things in life are still traditional.

Think carefully and sympathetically before you make a mistake you may regret forever.

Over 80% of women and men who were proposed to said that the marriage proposal was "less romantic" than they had hoped for.

Make Your Marriage Proposal a Romantic Surprise

Find an opportunity to window shop for diamond engagement rings, browse bridal magazines for the latest diamond ring designs and also take notice when your fiance or girl friend notices or comments about what style or diamond rings and jewellery appeal to her.

This will be one of the most significant moments in both your lives, so make it a day she will remember and treasure

Buying a superior quality diamond from a genuine diamond expert often assists, preferably from a diamond vendor who has a professional reputation and is able to educate you in the art of diamond cuts.

It is important always to view several diamonds alongside each other to make an intelligent comparison with the asssitance of a fully trained diamond expert and not just some retail diamond salesperson who can only tell you the diamond is good because " it sparkles ".

Even inferior badly cut diamonds sparkle so if you are unable to visually ascertain the differences between an excellent cut diamond, a very good cut diamond or a good cut diamond, then the diamond salesperson has failed in providing you with the proper insight required prior to purchase.

Buying a diamond should be a risk free and pleasant transaction.

Just because a diamond grading report or diamond certificate says a diamond is Excellent Excellent Excellent does NOT mean you have a good diamond. There are many other considerations and pitfalls that only an experienced and ethical diamond vendor can explain.

The importance of diamond grading and the differences between recognised diamond grading laboratories also needs to be explained because not all diamond grading laboratories grade the same.

Is the diamond grading laboratory genuinely independent, recognised and accredited or is it a pseudo in-house diamond grading lab owned by the diamond vendor selling conflict of interest diamonds ?

" An industry code of silence and lack of standards
exposes customers to potential ripoffs
"

The main issues regarding non compliant diamond grading laboratories in Australia are :

1) Genuine independence because they are traders pretending to be graders.
2) Lack of disclosure.
3) Professional incompetence.
4) Unconfirmed credentials and inexperience.
5) Inadequate laboratory standard diamond testing equipment.

Why take the risk for the one of the most important decisions of your life ?
