For some unknown reason since the last two latter posts we have received an unusual number of phone calls from Mr Bates and supposedly potential Melbourne buyers who tell me they find no problems with Auscert. On all occassions the conflict of interest issue was either ignored or difficult to comprehend by the callers. Our only suggestion was that these clients did not qualify to be our clients because they were not intelligent enough to understand the main issue of independent certification and we suggested they purchase elsewhere.

If GSL or BGL are genuinely independent why are they involved with the selling of Jogia's diamonds?
Nikhil's lawyers have written that Yogesh Jogia is no longer a director and is not connected with Jogia Diamonds International.

AS A PRECAUTION UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES PURCHASE A DIAMOND WITH A " WORLD GEMMOLOGICAL LABORATORY " APPRAISAL SUMMARY PRIOR TO VERIFYING THE DIAMOND SPECIFICATIONS ARE ACCURATE.
As far as we know , none of the above organisations are recognised by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses, IDC (International Diamond Council), IDMA ( International Diamond Manufacturer's Association ) or CIBJO ( World jewellery Confederation).
